Michael + Jessica are engaged!

A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of meeting up with Jessica + Michael to take their engagement photos. I am so excited for them! I have known Jessica for years and she is oh so sweet. And she certainly picked a wonderful guy to marry! 
Unfortunately, it turned out to be an extremely rainy and dreary day. The sun wasn't nearly shining as bright as I would've liked for it to be. We were going for that "country sunset" look, and we captured some of that, but I so wish the sun would've peeked through! Though, we're just thankful that the rain stopped by 6pm, just in time for their session :)

Jess and Michael were so great to work with and so laid back during their session -- it definitely makes my job easier when my clients are simply there to celebrate their love instead of put on a show! It certainly shines through in the photos as well.
