Senior Portraits | Sam McDowell

I had my very first Senior Portrait session a few weekends ago. "Your very first one!?"....people have asked.
Yesss. You see, I am still just a little baby at this whole photography thing! I love growing slowly but steadily. I like taking things easy and learning as much as I possibly can, no matter how long it takes me. With that said, Sam was an amazing model. She really blew me away with her natural beauty, and I loved capturing that behind the lens.

Sam also has a passion for photography and plans on attending college after she graduates to further her knowledge and love of photography.

We met up early one Saturday morning at my Aunt & Uncle's farm in Remington. The thought had not crossed my mind that the grass would be completely soaking wet from the dew that morning, but Sam toughed it out, and it maybe added a little character to some of the photos ;) Though, you really can't tell. The sun was absolutely stunning that morning -- I mean, I could not have asked for better, more delicious, lighting! I wish I could do all of my sessions in the early morning *hint hint*.

Enough babbling from me. Here are some of my favorites from Sam's session.

Mama and her girl!! A girl and her mama ;)

I just had to capture the sun coming up over that hill as much as possible :)

Thank you so much, Lauren and Sam, for allowing me to take your Senior Portrait photos!! You did an amazing job, Sam. Congrats on your graduation!!
I'm positive that there is an amazing and exciting adventure ahead of you :)

Amy
