Doug + Morgan | Old Town Remington Engagement Session

I met up with Doug and Morgan (and Angel!!) a couple of weeks ago for their evening engagement session. Doug even missed part of the Redskins game for their photo session (he's a keeper!!!). :) 

When Morgan first contacted me about their engagement session, she was quite torn between Warrenton and Remington. But because she's oh so sweet, she decided to go with Remington. Morgan wanted to capture Doug's hometown since their wedding will be in Ohio, where she grew up.

Doug had mentioned at one point that if the elementary school (where him and I attended school together!) were still the same place it use to be, he would have loved to take a photo in front of it. But unfortunately, time has flown by and things have changed, and the old elementary school building is no longer there. A new school building now sits where the old one used to be. So, I tried to get the next best thing....the "Welcome to Remington" sign right in front of the school ;)

I have to admit, even though I grew up in Remington as well, I wasn't quite sure how many "pretty" places there were to take photos!! However, I knew of a couple of cute places, and Doug and Morgan lit the place up!

Doug + Morgan's beautiful dog Angel tagged along for a few photos. She was quite the sweetheart and I would have loved to bring her home with me!! Isn't she beautiful?

Morgan's ring was absolutely stunning. I love seeing unique engagement rings.
