In just a few weeks we'll be taking the kids trick-or-treating and then pulling our hair out because they are hyped up on sugar.
Next, we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving with loved ones (and some not so loved ones), getting fat and sassy on turkey, stuffing, mashed taters, and that beloved 'thanksgiving sandwich' for the 10 days following thanksgiving.

And then, Christmas :) Sweet blissful Christmas. My favorite time of year. Christmas is normally fairly quiet for my little family. We take time off and take an entire week to visit family and friends. We don't try to do that "oh my gosh we have to go to grandma so and so's and aunt rita's and other grandma so and so's and mom and dad and your mom and dads and...."
No....we don't do that. Out of all of the other holidays, Christmas is OUR holiday. Not only to celebrate (even if spread out) with family and friends, but to celebrate the birth of our Savior.
