Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

It's that time of year again -- Christmas is upon us and 2013 is just around the corner. I can hardly believe how fast this year has gone.

It has been an eventful year for AFP (Amy Fewell Photography) and for my family. We've been so crazy busy, but its kept us on our toes. AFP has been steadily growing (and sometimes faster than I would like!), and I have ALL of you to thank for that.
A huge thank you to all of the one's who have supported my photography business over the past 18 months. You have no idea how much you've blessed my heart and my business. Thank you to the family members, friends, friends of friends, clients (old and new!), and businesses who've made this year so successful for AFP. All of you have contributed such an amazing gift to me -- I've learned so much over the past year and I can not thank you all enough!

Next year (2013) will bring some changes to AFP (and my AFP website!). I will begin by changing my business structure and the things that I offer. I feel as though I will be better able to take care of my clients if I only focus on certain styles and sessions.
With that said, I will only offer the following sessions in 2013.

Portraits:
Family & Children
(including smash birthday sessions)
Couple & Engagement
Maternity & Newborn
(including Watch Me Grow packages)

I am also offering special rates for certain packages (maternity, newborn, etc)

I will certainly take on random sessions through out the year, such as business head shots, events, real-estate, etc., and have some projects coming up in the new year that I'll be working on (and closely with) for other local businesses.

I will not offer wedding photography in the new year unless I feel completely compelled to for certain people or instances. If you have already booked a 2013 wedding, no worries!! You're still booked and I still very much look forward to photographing your beautiful day!!

If you have inquired about birth photography, I would certainly be happy to meet with you regarding a possible session. However, please know that I am not advertising for or taking on birth photography (except on a session by session basis) simply due to the fact that I have my own little family to take care of. It is hard to commit myself to birth photography should something come up with my own family :)

I have raised my rates for 2013 simply because I raise my rates a bit every year. This also includes the price of a flash drive (what it costs me to purchase one), and other things that are required of me during, before, and after your session. This does not include the price of a disc or flash drive with photos on them. Pricing for that is separate as you will be purchasing the print release to your photos so that you may use them however you wish. In today's digital age, I understand how important it is for you to have your photos on a disc, flash drive, or instantly downloaded through your computer. However, I also know the importance of printing your photos out and keeping them for years to come. A brief reminder: please don't forget to print your photos, even if you choose not to print them through AFP. Photos are such an important and fun part of history, for your children, grandchildren, and other family/friends! It's something to look back on and cherish forever, even if you just print them out and throw them in an old shoe box in your closet.

I will offer special mini-sessions (seasonal, holiday, etc) through out the year and will post a blog and put on facebook when those sessions are available. Mini sessions are quite popular and I love offering them to you! There may be some exciting things in store for mini-sessions as well -- just need to wrap up the details with another local photographer ;) Will keep you posted!

Again, thank you all so much for your continued support through out this business adventure! I love capturing all of the memories and special moments with you guys -- Merry Christmas!!
